FAQ

  • What Is Lights Out, Barks Out?
    • Lights Out. Barks Out or LOBO for short is a night club event geared around pups, furries, handlers and the kink community. The event is proudly sex positive and gender inclusive.

  • Where Does LOBO! Take Place?
    • LOBO is currently in many cities around the united states for the most up to date info you should check our social media or website.

  • Is every LOBO! The Same?
    • While the ideals of LOBO remain the same in each city we are proud of the fact that every single party has developed its own identity. We try to build each party around the city we are in at a given time and attempt to put on the best show possible with a wide range of music. In addition each city has different agreements with the venue so that can lead to different charges at the door in one city vs another.

  • What type of music do you play at LOBO?
    • While the music tends to be within the circuit/tribal genre LOBO is known for going outside of that as well. Including featuring house, tech house, trance, psytrance, hardstyle, disco, nudsico and more

  • What Should I wear to LOBO?
    • We get this question a ton –we always tell people to wear what makes you comfortable! There’s no dress code, and we encourage you to wear anything that makes you feel confident. We’re proud that we get to see everything from: shirts & pants, rave gear, tank tops, casual dresses & cute skirts, jocks & underwear, fursuits, drag, and every flavor of gear or kink (rubber, leather, padding, pup gear, pet suits, and even fully-bridled ponyplay). At the end of the day, We’re honored to be a space where people feel free to express themselves. We do, however encourage people to be aware of local & state laws that may apply in their city

  • Why are you giving me a colored wristband at the door?
    • The color wristband you choose at the door represents our consent system. We do this as a way to try and keep all of our LOBO! family safe. The colors mean the following: Green: Open to touch (Still Have To Ask),  Yellow: Ask To Touch, Red: Do Not Touch. This is based on the universal stoplight system.

  • What should I do if someone violates my consent?
    • If you feel as though your consent has been violated please seek out the nearest LOBO Staff member you can find. They will assist you further from there. We take consent violations very seriously and if you feel as though someone has violated your consent we do ask you inform us as soon as possible.

  • Will it be loud and or hot at LOBO?
    • You can usually expect the volume levels to increase throughout the night as more people start to filter in. As far as heat goes we do our best to try and keep the dance floor as cool and comfortable as possible however due to the nature of having so many people in one place it can get warm on the dance floor.

  • Will there be flashing lights at LOBO?
    • As we are a nightclub event it is likely you will experience some sort of nightclub lighting ranging from a full display of lasers to haze and effects. Sometimes it is also a toned down set up. In addition we do try a couple times a year to do sensory friendly events.
